Top Ten Posts for May 2011

leadership best

May was another busy month as my new job shifted into high gear. Here are the month’s top posts:

1. The 5 Qualities of Elite Teams

2. Leading with your “Yes”

3. Leading like Michelangelo

4. Leveraging your Fear as a Leader

5. Leadership or Manipulation?

6. How Do You Harvest Great Ideas?

7. Managing Beliefs

8. Climate Controlled Leadership

9. Leadership Lessons from Watching Football

10. Why Ask Why?

Topping the list was a post on elite teams that came on heels of the Special Forces raid on Osama bin Laden’s hideout. Numbers 2, 4 & 5 were top performers from earlier this year; numbers 3, 6 & 9 are perennial favorites; and the rest—numbers 7, 8 & 10—came out this month.

If you blog, what was your best post in May?

  1. I love your blog “The 7 Elements of Surprise” is great. I especially like #7 that talks about … after your surprise settles in, spring up another one. Fun idea.

    1. Thanks Kim! After I proposed to my wife (which is another story with many surprises), we went out to dinner at a nice restaurant, then, since we happened to be in the neighborhood, we stopped by the Irish Pub where we met.

Of course, the place was packed with family and friends who had been in on the planning for the whole day. It was awesome!
